Successful Festivals and Events require a great deal of work and support from their community. Financial support is just as important as the volunteer power that plans activities or constructs the stage. The Celina Balloon Festival is no exception.

By any measure this year’s Celina Balloon Festival was a HUGE success: most attendance (est 24,000 – 26,000) ever, largest number of vendors ever, most sponsors, largest number of carnival rides, most number of bands and for the first time ever in Celina, a laser light show. Yes indeed, some say it was “the most fun” ever.

The Board Members of the Celina Chamber of Commerce have set the date for the 7^th Annual Celina Balloon Festival as October 26 & 27 at Old Celina Park.

Board Member Heather Zacny said, “Holding the Balloon Festival the weekend before Halloween allows us to add so many new events to the already fun packed weekend. One of the obvious things that we can do is have Halloween contests…for people AND their pets. It’s going to be a lot of fun. We hope y’all will come and share it with us.”
